Christy Wessler

"I do not believe that it should take years to sing better," she says. Christy encourages adults who think they can't sing to sing with power and confidence. She studied voice for six years, three of which were with the head of voice, Dr. Ron Worstell, at the Denver University Lamont School of Music. Christy is a singer, songwriter, speaker, and comedian.

She teaches with a sense of humor in a positive environment. Her CD's include Goodbye-The Arrival and Sapphire & Gold. She is currently recording a Christmas CD. Her clients have included St. Anthony's Hospital, First Pioneer National Bank, and Fort Collins First Night. Her original song "Celebrate Life" was the featured song at the Martin Luther King Day Parade in Denver 2001 & 2002.

Christy applies folk and classical voice principles to every style of music. She emphasizes proper breathing and muscle memory to learn songs.

She believes that, "We should love the sound of our own voices and singing should be a pleasure."
