Vicki has long been considered one of Colorado's preeminent blues women. She is a consummate musician, proficient on guitar, piano, and fiddle, as well as an amazing vocalist and songwriter. She was a longtime member of The Mother Folkers, and has also toured with various bands, performing blues, country, and bluegrass.

She has recently released a solo CD, featuring original blues songs in the Delta and New Orleans styles. When she's not performing or teaching, Vicki is kept busy as a record producer.

Vicki has been teaching music all of her adult life. On acoustic guitar she teaches all levels and all styles except classical. Her specialties include fingerstyle, blues (especially Delta blues), folk, swing, pop, and bottleneck slide. On the piano, Vicki teaches intermediate level blues and jazz. Vicki steers away from reading music in her lessons, preferring tablature for guitar and chord charts with melody lines for piano.

Vicki also teaches a very popular collection of vocal classes for intermediate level singers, including "Gospel Singing," "Blues Vocal Stylings," and "Torch Songs."
