Willie Jaeger

Bio: Willie has been teaching and performing for 30 plus years, and has released four recordings with his band Jubilant Bridge. Contemporary folk, rock, country, western, Celtic, old-time/string-band, Renaissance, early music, and just about anything with harmony are a few of his musical interests. Some other interests include collecting small weird musical instruments, rubber noses, wind-up toys, and dumb jokes—all of which might appear during a lesson or performance. He also likes hiking, birding, & wild-flower gardening. He is an easy-going, patient teacher who wants students to enjoy the process as well as the playing. Even with beginners, he has students playing music as early as the first lesson. He tailors his teaching to the student based on their interests and pace and strives to develop in them the skills they need to eventually continue working and developing on their own.
