Katie Hoffman received a BFA with honors from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She creates art daily and is involved with the Colorado Women’s Caucus for Art. She shows her work locally at CORE New Art Space in Denver. Swallow Hill holds a special place in her heart. Clay Kirkland’s harmonica teaching inspired her son to set Lewis Carroll’s
poem “Jabberwocky” to the tune of “Not Fade Away. “ Without Clay’s teaching, her son would not have been so inspired. “And that,” she said, “would be a shame.” |
